CHEMECA19 Young Engineers Social Night

Discovering the benefits of Professional Association membership in your career

Monday 30 September 2019, 19:30–21:30

Ever wondered what a Chair of an Industry Body do in their roles? Why being a member of a Professional Association matters? And how can you contribute back to the engineering community? Looking for a casual networking opportunity? Come along to the CHEMECA19 Young Engineers Social Night!

We will be having a discussion with the Chairs of three major Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Associations including Engineers Australia, IChemE and RACI. The Chair members will give us insight into their roles in the organisation, and the impact it makes to the engineering communities. There will also be Q&A sessions about their personal career journey and the advices they can share with us students and early career engineers!
